Choose from indoor or outdoor (weather permitting) buffet service options. Don’t want a buffet? Just say so! We’ll create a served dinner of your choosing!

The Victorian Lady ...$26.95

Experience the gentle pace and grace of times gone by with a three-course Tea, complete with flowers and lace, china, scones, Toast and marmalade, Assorted Teas, Bisque, Cucumber and Lady Finger Chicken & Grape Sandwiches, Artichoke Quiche, and Desserts to make a Victorian Lady sigh. Enjoy a needlepoint or lace-making demonstration and take home a gift set of favorite teas.

The Boxcar Journey ...$24.95

Relive a bygone time and become a hobo, hopping trains headed for, well, wherever. When your train (motor coach) pulls into the ‘stockyard’ the “hobos” can climb down, gather ‘round the fire, toss in their potato or piece of bacon, and anti up for a hobo stew. (Inspect their complimentary knapsack on a stick for the ingredients!) Flatbread, kettle coffee, pork and beans and homemade cookies snatched from a passing bakery will complete the meal. Get in character with face ‘smudge,’ tooth-black and a tattered shirt (provided by Lakeside Center) Sit on sturdy wooden crates or on a well-worn blanket on a bale of straw and eat from a (sanitized) pie tin. Enjoy “Tales of the Rails” as your guests participate in a scripted folklore session, where they read from a script, but fill in the details to weave a yarn worthy of knitting!

Choose from our extensive menu of afternoon dinners fit for an Heiress, or the ghost of one!

Have an outdoor scavenger hunt, for evidentiary artifacts, and solve the riddle of who stole the dinner! (Party script provided.) Candelabras and cobwebs, velvet drapes and more.

This is a dinner party your guests won’t soon forget, as your meal magically reappears. When they board the coach, check their pockets for the good silverware!! It’s a souvenir!

South of the Border ...$23.95

Hurry in! The Border Patrol is just up the road! Time for a quick meal, and on to the next stop!

This delightful buffet of Southwestern favorites will satisfy even the most weary and ornery “Wetback.” Lots of variety with an extensive Taco Bar, Tortillas, Taco Salad, Corn Bread, Mexican Beans, Gently Seasoned Rice, and Cherry Cream Cheesecake or Lemon Meringue Pie. Cool off with lemonade from our cast iron well (beverage fountain), and enjoy the Western Décor and music. Your guests will receive a souvenir sombrero and pocket full of peanuts in the shell for the ‘dusty trail!’
